NY1 Covers WHEELS' College Application March December 17, 2011New York 1 features our Washington Heights Expeditionary Learning School's first graduating class of seniors, who marched with NYC Schools Chancellor Walcott through crowds of community supporters to the post office, where they mailed in their college applications. 100% of WHEELS students are on track to graduate and 100% have submitted their college applications. Nick News Covers BCS Expedition 'Why Gas the Geese?' November 15, 2011We're on Nickelodeon News - at least, our Brooklyn School for Collaborative Studies' 6th grade English Language Arts and Environmental Science class is. Their learning expedition "Why Gas the Geese?" is featured seven minutes into the film. Guiding questions for this expedition included "What problems does overpopulation of geese cause?" and "Do humans have to become predators?"
