NYC Outward Bound’s 2008 benefit gala will take place Tuesday June 3rd, at the Tent at Tavern on the Green. Funds raised will support our education and leadership programs for NYC public schools.

The annual dinner will honor Tim Armstrong, President, Advertising and Commerce, North America, & Vice President of Google Inc. and Louis V. Gerstner, Jr., Former Chairman & CEO of IBM.

Miller; Mark Newhouse, Advance Publications; Richard Plepler, Home Box Office; Bruce Ratner, Forest City Ratner Companies; Steven Rattner, Quadrangle Group, LLC; Brad Raymond, Thomas Weisel Partners; Steven Roth, Vornado Realty Trust; Terri Santisi; Arthur Sulzberger Jr., The New York Times Company; Virginia H. & Geoffrey F. Worden will chair the event.

The event will bring together over 600 students, teachers, staff members and supporters to celebrate NYC Outward Bound’s over 20 years of work in New York’s public schools. Student and teacher participation in the dinner is underwritten by The Wachovia Foundation.
