The Gaynor McCown Expeditionary Learning School is a small 9th-12th grade high school located in the new Marsh Avenue Education Complex on Staten Island. Our school prepares young people for success in college and other post-secondary careers in a small, safe, academically rigorous learning community. Our mission is to equip students with the skills and orientation necessary for responsible citizenship, in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents, so that graduates may leave their mark on the world.
