Our 5 Commitments
The Kurt Hahn Expeditionary Learning School has defined a set of core values and character traits that we are committed to living out at school and in our lives. We call them our “5 Commitments,” which are:
Courage:
We do what is right and necessary, often in spite of the fact that it is uncomfortable.
Compassion:
We value the opinions and emotions of others.
Respect:
We hold ourselves to a high standard of positive behavior.
Stewardship:
We affirm the importance of place in our daily lives, and of valuing each and every life.
Perseverance:
We work for continued improvement and effort.
