Deep Learning at Gaynor McCown School >

Staten Island Advance explores our Gaynor McCown School’s “Intensives,” in which students study one subject in great depth for a week. One intensive, Passport to Adventure, Passport to Adventure, included a visit with long-distance swimmer Dyana Nyad; the intensive’s goals included learning the importance of risk, challenge and discovery, and building teamwork and leadership skills.
