NYC Outward Bound Schools is hosting its annual gala on May 19, 2021 at 7pm ET, and for the first time, this event will be held online. This year, we are honoring Richard Stopol, retiring CEO of NYC Outward Bound Schools; Dr. Lester Young, Jr., Chancellor of the NYC Board of Regents; and Hon. Mark Treyger, NYC Councilmember and Chair of the Education Committee.
Our student-led program will also recognize the dedication of our network’s teachers, principals, social workers, advisors and school counselors as this year’s recipients of the Gaynor McCown Excellence in Teaching Award, for their support of our students through an incredibly challenging year.
