In response to a New York Times Op-Ed titled, “Learning Online Beats School,” by 8th grader Veronique Mintz, NYC Outward Bound Schools President & CEO Richard Stopol addresses some of the issues of inequity that remote learning exacerbates in a letter included in “Lessons for the Future From Online Learning.”
This topic is part of an ongoing debate on whether or not schools should reopen for in-person learning in the fall, and the opportunities and challenges that blended learning presents for students and teachers.
