Virtual Gala 2021

Join us on May 19, 2021 as we honor three longtime champions of educational equity in New York.

NYC Outward Bound Schools is hosting its annual fundraising gala on May 19, 2021 at 7pm ET, and for the first time, this event will be held online. This year, we are honoring Richard Stopol, retiring CEO of NYC Outward Bound Schools; Dr. Lester Young, Jr., Chancellor of the NYC Board of Regents; and Hon. Mark Treyger, NYC Councilmember and Chair of the Education Committee.

Our student-led program will also recognize the dedication of our network’s teachers, principals, social workers, advisors and school counselors, who supported our students through an incredibly challenging year.

$10,000 – $50,000

Donors who give $10,000 or more will receive special recognition and have the option to watch with 10 of your friends/colleagues from a private “table” where you can see each other and chat amongst yourselves during the event. 

$50,000 – Champion

• Verbal recognition by our student emcees during the event
• Logo or name on our website and in all gala-related emails
• Premium placement of logo or name in the opening and closing slides
• Access to the event for 10, option for a private virtual table
• One full-screen ad during the event

$25,000 – Leader

• Recognition during the event
• Logo or name on our website and in two gala-related emails
• Premium placement of logo or name in the opening/closing slides
• Access to the event for 10, option for a private virtual table

$10,000 – Trailblazer

• Logo or name on our website and in one gala-related email
• Logo or name in the opening/closing slides
• Access to the event for 10, option for a private virtual table
