On June 9th, 2017, 7th graders at Launch, a NYC Outward Bound School in Bed-Stuy, staged a walk-out and marched to Restoration Plaza as a demonstration to end gun violence in their neighborhood.

Our ninth annual College March included more than 2,000 high school seniors from 27 high schools in 12 cities around the country — including eight NYC Outward Bound Schools.
Launch’s 3rd Annual Walkout to End Gun Violence >
200 7th and 8th graders from Launch put down their pencils and walked out of their school to raise awareness about gun violence in their community.
2019 Meetup Day >
Each year, we invite all of our seniors to join us at Meetup Day, a chance for students headed to the same college to connect and form relationships that will help them thrive during the first confusing weeks of college.
