On Monday, May 6 a fearless few will make the first-ever rope descent of the world’s most famous skyscraper — The Empire State Building. This challenge has never been attempted before and may never be attempted again.NYC Outward Bound Schools is proud to partner with the Empire State Building, the Empire State Realty Trust, Outward Bound International, The Outward Bound Trust, and Outward Bound USA to make this thrilling feat possible.
Our goal is simple: to raise transformational funds in support of Outward Bound experiences in NYC around the globe, and remind the world of what can be achieved when determined people come together.

Outward Bound has provided me with a lot of firsts — from my first time whitewater rafting, to becoming the first in my family to go to college. Because of Outward Bound, I’m always welcoming the next challenge in my life, including today’s Big Rappel.
