    Launch Students March to End Gun Violence

    On Friday, June 9th, seventh graders from Launch marched from their school to a rally at Restoration Plaza amphitheater, where the student body president kicked off a series of speakers from the school and community, in partnership with the Save Our Streets (SOS) Crown Heights organization.

    June 9, 2017

    On June 9th, 2017, 7th graders at Launch, a NYC Outward Bound School in Bed-Stuy, staged a walk-out and marched to Restoration Plaza as a demonstration to end gun violence in their neighborhood. Partnering with Save Our Streets (SOS), the 100+ students recited original poetry at the Plaza, and shared their own stories of gun violence.
