Aprar Hassan is a student at Leaders High School, a NYC Outward Bound School, and the first Muslim girl to compete on the Amateur Athletic Union’s USA National Karate Team. Donning her hijab during competition, Aprar serves as a trailblazer and a role model to many young women of diverse backgrounds.
